This week we are finished selling our items to make money instead we are more focused on finding a way to send the money to CHHASE to fund the project that we have been working on. The difficulty right now is making sure that all the money we are donating goes to the project and trying to find the way that we can send it with out to much of it going to a processing fee. We are adding up what we have raised and trying to reflect on how we feel the fundraising went overall. We believe that we have been very stead fast in making sure that we put our best foot forward in order to get the most out of this project as we could. We both agree that this project gave us a sense of humbleness because we realized that here we are worried about minor issues while people are out there worried about when they will receive their next meal. We demonstrated haʻahaʻa or humbleness through this project by realizing the hardships people face in their everyday lives. We also demonstrated pono or righteousness to realize that we did a great thing and we should continue to live in service to others. The only minor problem that we face is finding a way to give the money while saving the most on unnecessary processing fees. The picture above is only one days work!
